Redeeming Love Ministry Inc. (RLM) is a charity/non-profit organization dedicated to offering vital and life-saving assistance to individuals living in extreme poverty in Canada and internationally. We have been established with the aim of collaborating with local and international charitable organizations, government hospitals, professional associations, and community-based organizations to alleviate poverty and bring about positive change in the lives of individuals residing in Canada and low-income countries, with a particular focus on Ethiopia.
During the period of 2021/2022, Redeeming Love Ministry Inc. (RLM) has partnered with various associations and charity organizations in Canada and internationally to secure grants and in-kind donations for healthcare institutions, particularly hospitals and health centers in the Afar region. In 2021, medical supplies and equipment were donated to hospitals and health centers in the Afar region, with the aim of improving the health conditions of communities in remote areas with limited access to healthcare services. In 2020, RLM provided emergency nutrition and material support to several hundred people affected by severe droughts in Ethiopia.
In 2021/22, RLM successfully raised funds and secured in-kind donations from various donor organizations based in Canada, specifically in the province of Manitoba. However, when compared to the urgent needs in the country, particularly in regions like Afar, there is still much more work to be done to support those affected by droughts, famines, and various diseases.
